How could Bung be so heartless?

Even though I'm addicted to the show, quite a lot about Britain's Got Talent pisses me off. In the show, as in life, one of my ultimate bête noires are people who try to get votes through sympathy rather than deserved talent. So, feeling bitchy, I made a few scathing lolcats. It's probably not in the best humour, but you should have noticed by now that I'm a bit of a goon, so... :)

Can't believe "2 Grand" got through ahead of Callum.

Yeah, that pissed me off, so, so much. Especially when that old fart pointed to the sky and said something about his dead wife. ffs.

Calum deserved it so much more, his act was sweet and winning when it could have so easily been irritating.

HAAAARRSSHH!! Oh emma...

although even I was getting a bit fed up of him mentioning his dead wife. yes, it is very sad, and although the whole thing may mean a lot to him, I think over mentioning it was a bit silly. He may not have been purposefully looking for votes, but I just feel some things ought to be kept vaguely private and yeah. And I did like callum better.

Yep. But it's emotive drivel which people crave. I was at a party when I watched it (yes, I'm that cool) and most of the girls were crying and wanted them to go through.

I didn't get the deal with the saxophone player though - yes, he was a good saxophone player, but it's an entertainment show, and I just didn't find it that entertaining? Maybe I'm odd.

Fred Bowers is an inspiration :P

OMG Hollie Steel is the worst. "I forget my words and I'm scared mummy will beat me tonight, so please let me go again or I'll cry again and tell everybody that Piers touched me in a bad place!"

I'm sorry, but I can't believe people voted for that. Sheer manipulation.

omg why is everyone so mean to hollie steel :( she had stage fright bless her, I once had it and it was mortifying. and it was so brave of her to go on again, it wasn't cos she messed up, it was cos of the ridiculous amount of pressure. I'm sorry but even though greg pritchard was pretty much my favourite act ever, I think she ought to have got a second chance and got through. her singing wasn't exactly mature but it had definate potential, and, tbh, it's just about compassion, rather than rules sometimes. I felt sorry for her.

I agree with Anahita.

I don't normally get moved by tears, but when she started to cry I really felt sorry for her... then I felt sorry for Greg cos I really wanted to see him in the finals.

I was a little torn!

But it's a talent show, and if the contestants can't perform when required, it seems to me they don't have the talent required.

She came across as a spoilt little girl who cries if she doesn't get her way. And Simon Cowell gave in to her.

It's OK. Right people won.

Oh, Nigel. As my three Facebook statuses today will tell you, I am so, so chuffed. XD

Huh. I have no idea what you're talking about, since we don't get this show, but find it amusing nonetheless. ;-)
