*sigh* The genius of Jeffrey Eugenides...good choice, its one of my sisters favourites...much better than Lost In Translation!

Ah, good choice. Such a beautiful film, and Kirsten Dunst is just amazing in it. The movie doesn't *quite* reach the level of awesomeness that the book achieves, but still, I love it.

@ Kayleigh - yay, someone else thinks Coppola's first effort was superior to LiT! Then again, I really couldn't see what was so great about LiT, though I've tried....

@ DL - yup. Read the book this year, was blown away. One of the most unique reads ever.

one of the sexiest films I've ever seen. As soon as I watched this movie, I knew I wanted to be like Dunst.

What an excellent start to Sofia's career. It really doesn't reach the level of Lost in Translation, but few films ever will. Great movie.
